It's Saturday

Today I think turned out alot better than the weather people led us to believe. I got the grass cut, some weeding and other yard work done. Pedicure after, and I felt lovely!! The gym sent out their summer bulletin and YEAH the pool opens Sat for the summer season (sorry my Aussie friends :( ) anyhow, I know I will get alot of swimming in this summer. I got my yoga done, wash is almost done, and I feel well accomplished today!! that is a good thing!

Tomorrow we are off, the second sons first concert! I'm excited to take him to it and his gf. We will see the following bands, ZZTop, Saliva, Unloaded, Puddle of Mudd, Offspring, Hailstorm ( a local band) and Papa Roach. For a first concert it should be a mind blowing event for the youngster, of course I'm only interested in really only two of the bands!!! lol

I am glad I will be able to share this with him. When I was thinking back about my first concert, my dad took me to see Aerosmith, 78, awesome and yes I was the same age as my youngest...so that is cool!!!

Anyhow, my weekend is going along perfectly a nice night for some fun with family (my oldest is home for the next six weeks or so) and friends...which I will be meeting out later tonight for some dancing and fun!!! I hope you all are having a great weekend!

2 1/2 years is way too long

Photobucket

We finally got together after two long years...it's amazing what we both have been through. I used to weight 260, she had long, wild hair and now the whole scenario is different. I've missed her although we've kept in touch in email and phone. She is going through the worst crap a person can, two types of breast cancer and she's only 30....humbles those who think they have it all, and yes she's still smiling! I was so happy last night!

The most incredible seafood!

If you ever get a chance to come to the Wilmington waterfront, a place to eat is Harry's Seafood. They have the best seafood there that you would ever eat. Everytime I go there the food is fresh, the menu is different and they plan it all on what is the freshest available at the market that morning. Today, I had a lunch of lobster and boston bibb lettuce with tomato and avacado. It was incredible, then I shared a strawberry shortcake with chantilly cream with my little sister, the bride to be! It was heaven on earth. Of course I have 1/2 of my salad left over for dinner tonight or tomorrow.

I have a lunch date tomorrow, nice guy I met out and I'm having drinks with another fellow tonight. I will say it's daunting the amount of guys who come out of the woodwork when you are not the "fat" girl anymore. I'm enjoying it, as I am a huge people person, but clearly most only are looking for one thing and when that comes up, CHECK PLEASE!

I still like the guy K, but I don't think he wants or knows how to have a relationship, I don't want to be just the girl that hangs out with you when you work at the bar! Seriously I love the drinks and all the attention, but there is way more to life than that! So, I'm not really sure what he wants, I don't even think he knows what he wants. It seems to me that he has filled his time with things he does, work, biking, triathalons, his son, but it does not seem there is room at all for a girl. So, I'm going to let him ride it out, I do think he is a really great person, seriously, but life is too short for that.

I haven't exercised in days, my body is so telling me this right at this very moment. Will I do any tonight, my plan is yes, but in my heart I doubt it will happen. I need to get back in my routine, but with everything that happened last week and now this week in preparation for the big day on Saturday, who knows.

On the weight front, I am maintaining, which is a very good thing! I was worried I would have dropped too much with the lack of eating properly and well too much drinking this weekend! Had a great weekend with my friends, old and new ones I met yesterday at their pool party. We had a great time, I have some new pics to post as soon as I get them uploaded!

So I'm off for my drinks and some hopefully nice conversation. I have alot of work this week and well its going to be another short one for me. The picnic is Friday, the wedding Sat and I still have yet to buy a dress. If anyone has a beautiful size 6 dress for a summer wedding, please send it to me!! LOL

We survived

Thanksgiving, it was great to see the friends and family. What a difference in my life all these people have been this past year, rooting for me and well just being there for me. Wed night stbxh was up his tricks, but it didn't curtail me into having a bad night, we had a great date. Went to see an indie movie in Philly, dinner and a drink on South Street. Then back to his house and watched a movie while I waited for the partiers to clear the roads so I could head home. I really didn't want to be driving while they were out there since it's such a big party night here at least. Overall the evening was great, I love to spend time with my new man and he brings such happiness and joy to my life. He went out shopping this a.m. and called me at 4:45 to tell me all about his great buys, I had to laugh as I was snuggled warmly in my bed. Of course the reason being is we work today :(

DS1 and his gf went shopping today too, starting with the midnight run...lol They strolled in around 7am and proceeded to go to the couches and get in some sleep.

So work is quiet today, hopefully I'll get alot done, but it's what it is...have a great Black Friday and if you are shopping be safe.

The day before

Here we are the day before the big holiday, the busiest travel day of the year as millions of people are flying, driving or taking whatever means to get home and spend some quality time with family and friends. It is the unofficial beginning of the craziest time in the year, of course I love this time of year!! I absolutely love Christmas. Last year I was recovering and I got the house decorated over a period of time although I felt like it would never get done. This year, well a few months back I was considering not even decorating for Christmas and give in to the bah humbug about the whole thing, but something has changed, a monumental thing has happened in my life and it has changed my whole outlook on things. Here is a great example: The past 4-5 days have been rainy, cold and down right nasty. Under these conditions I would normally be grumpy, grouchy and downright mad at the weather for being so crappy, well it didn't even bother me. I truly didn't care!! WOW is all I can say. Today the sun is shining and it's warm, going to be a great day and an even better night. M is taking me to Philly for dinner and some sightseeing on South Street...from the infamous song. It should be brimming with people out and about and enjoying the unseasonably warm evening and I will be spending it with a man I truly adore right now. How can life be more perfect? It can't...I'm so blessed to have him in my life and truly am in awe how much he adores me! I have never felt like I do and I am enjoying this ride every minute.

I sat down with ds2 and told him I was seeing someone last night, it went over alot better than I thought it would and he asked alot of great questions about M and I told him, he's great. He doesn't quite know yet that he's meeting him Sat night, but I will let him know before the time comes.

Tomorrow is the most thankful day of the year, or so the pilgrims taught us that right?? LOL I am truly blessed and thankful for so much this year that my cup brimmeth over..ok I'm getting sappy.

So everyone enjoy your family, friends, some football (if that's your thing) and great food. If you are cooking, relax and enjoy yourself. I have cooked for so long that this year is a special treat that I am not. I will enjoy seeing my friends and family I haven't seen in a while, all the while missing those that cannot be with us this year.

Then after all the turkey is cleaned up and the dessert is settling in, it will become the craziest time of year, black Friday!!

Enjoy

I will never understand

why people act the way they do. They tell you they like you and so on and so forth and then turn on you in a heartbeat. I experienced this with two of my close friends yesterday and I was shocked, horrified and very sad to see this happen to old friends of mine. Have i changed that much, that they feel they need to act like this? I don't think so, but with no explanation or anything it's hard to tell. I tried to speak with each of them about this, but totally was ignored and then later again but again totally ignored. Am I becoming a self absorbed blithering idiot as one put it so nicely! I don't think so, other's don't either....but who knows.

So I pumped up the exercise double last night, boy did I feel it this a.m. when I stretched with my yoga, I felt muscles I didn't know I had. I took out all my aggressions in my weights, poor weights :) I will have to say that I am glad that I have found exercise as a new outlet to stress and agression in my life. A year ago if this situation happened, I would have headed straight to a store and the pastry or candy rack. I would have loaded up and feasted to my hearts content in my car, but instead I went home and worked out...I went right upstairs changed and had at it. The feeling of releasing those feelings was more than enough to get me going and back in a better mood. So here I am, wondering if I still have two friends who I really like and feel are dear to me, maybe, maybe not...but at least I did the positive release instead of the negative.

So now to work and listen to the girls and their great lives all day...lol

Weekend recap

It was busy and I am tired....Friday night I went out and skimmed through some clearance racks and got a shirt, capris and belt for 15$ total. That was my best deal of the day. Saturday started bright and early with bowling at 9am, ds2 bowled great! Then run home and change, grab sunscreen, my chair and a water jug and off to the game. We won the game, 28-7 which is better than the Eagles did on Sunday! Then off with my gf who got a new tattoo for her bday. 3 hours later we left there, went home picked up dh and ds and off to grab a bite to eat, then home, change and out the door for a night of dancing out with the girls. Needless to say Sunday morning I did not want to wake up!! I got up, ate had some water a little later and back to bed till noon...I was wiped. DH mowed the lawn, started the laundry after fixing the dryer and vacuumed so we could watch the Eagles loose!! Then the Bears lost so all in it was terrible!! Back at work today and I'm tired. Had to tow dh's car in because the starter went...what else could possibly happen!! don't answer that..lol

Monday, Monday

Yeah in 5 days I will be sunning and funning!!

I just wish it were 5pm on Friday right now....but it's not so here's the scoop on what's been going on.

Friday night was girls night out...I got asked by about three different people if I was 32, 33 or 35....wrong answer to all of the above. I'm 43...Got to love them. Got to see old friends we haven't seen in a while, it was very, very nice. Got to introduce one girlfriend to another said friend, male of mine, they hit it off great. Just as I expected...

Saturday was filled with movies and dinner out and more friends of the family variety. After a tiring Friday being out late, or should I say early Sat morning it made for a very long day but it was great.

Sunday was running day, lots of running and wash and cleaning. 5 days to pack and get my shit together...I actually am sad to say I got no formal exercise in this weekend unless you count Friday night's dancing marathon and the all the running around. I did log lots of steps in but nothing formal :(

Today, back with yoga, it was nice to stretch out the body and get back in the groove....also there will be elliptical at lunch. I hope I have time to walk later we'll see, I have to make some birthday cards that need to be mailed and I've started stamping candles...it's so darn easy and so much fun!! I love it. made some fall inspirations and butterflies. I don't know what my thing with butterflies is but I'm hooked on them. Maybe it's all the rebirth and all but I don't know!

Tomorrow is mom's for birthday and the saga goes on.....

I need to get to work and start working here, that's what they pay me to do!!

Three weeks and counting.....

that's where we are for the first day of school. Three weeks from today. We are on vacation the week before so it will go by really fast. Poor kids..lol

Life has been a whirlwind of activities and that has kept me from blogging away here. All last week was spent training the new "girl" she's doing great but really limits my free time to blog and such. Of course we are buying for the end of year hurray so it's been busy anyhow.

Friday I met up with some friends for some R&R and catching up. It's so nice to have downtime with the girls. Saturday was filled with errands and laundry and cleaning then another girlfriend came over that night for some girltime. Sunday was spent at a candle party with more friends. It was a nice weekend to catchup with lots of friends but it left poor dh a little leftout. Poor dh :(

Anyhow, I'm tired today and it was raining this a.m. so that didn't help me getout of bed faster or anything else. I did get in my exercise all days and am really starting to see the benefits of doing the yoga. I've been seriously looking into the YMCA to join and was told if I babysit one night a week I can get my membership for a small fraction of the regular family membership, so I signed up. Hopefully they will call now. I really would love to get with a personal trainer but our funds do not allow this right now.

DS1 starts his football camp next Monday, he will have this week off and that is it for the summer, he's been so busy. He'll be there all day and first game is the 8th of Sept. Also that day is the day ds2 starts his bowling in the morning league. He's been playing for years and wants to keep on going. The next morning I will be up bright and early and doing the American Heart Association walk. If anyone would like to sponsor me, here's the link:

http://heartwalk.kintera.org/faf/r.asp?t=4&i=215455&u=215455-184998144

My name is Michelle Vaught, if you would like to pledge and I will thank you in advance if you do so.

We have football either every Friday night or Saturday morning from Sept through November and bowling every Saturday morning until March. Where do my weekends go?? Also, celebrating alot of birthdays next month so that will be a tiresome whirlwind also. I can't believe everyone I know seems to have a Sept birthday.

My dh's birthday is tomorrow and we celebrated that yesterday with a nice dinner and cake for all the boys and not me!! I've been pretty diligent not to try these things to see how long I can hold off and hopefully forever. I really didn't even mind.

Anyhow that's life in a nutshell, it's been busy...whew...is it Friday yet??

Forgiveness?

So I have a friend (let's call her M) and she and I had a falling out awhile ago as some readers may remember. Alot of it has to do with her low self esteem and my WLS journey. I haven't spoken with her in about 3-4 months and out of the blue she emails me yesterday asking for forgiveness. OK, I am a good person (at least I think so) and always want to be thought of as someone who takes the higher road and well forgiveness is simple right? WRONG, I was the one who got their feelings crushed and racked over because she couldn't deal. But again being the bigger person and more mature I am going to forgive her and have. We've talked a bit but boy she wasn't very sincere. So I wonder where and how far this friendship will actually go? It's a good question for me....and I wonder if any of you have ever dealt with this?

A little update

The weekend was a blur and very stressful. I found myself, more than once wanting to take the edge off my nerves with food. Of course doing so would just make me sick....so I lived through it. My grandma (who's 95) was found unconscious Friday, they took her to the hospital and she was thoroughly dehydrated and has had another minor heart attack, thank goodness for all that but it took us 9 hours to find this out. Saturday the kids and I had plans to hike and meet friends up in Kutztown, so we went (at my mother's prodding) she said she would be home to take care of grandma, well we got home that night and I called in to check only to find out she and my sister had been out all day shopping for wedding stuff! WHAT!!! My mother has no cell (I know she's probably only one of 10 people who don't) anyhow no one checked in on grandma after they dropped her home and nestled her in bed that day. I was flamed. So Sunday I spent some time at grandma's and with sister who leaves today for Greece...good luck and hope to see you soon!

So we did have a nice hike (although small) on Saturday but it was perfect to get back into the swing of it. I also found a Denise Austin yoga tape so that was cool. It's a combo pilates and yoga...I have some problems with the yoga and the right knee, it doesn't want to comply with all the moves with the partial in there...I don't know if it ever will!

Anyhow the weather was nice and warm and low humidity and the company was great....so all in all it was a good weekend.

All I can say

is I'm starting over today. I had a great/emotional/horrible therapy session last night. After my thinking period and what we spoke of last night she felt like I had some breakthroughs. So we will work on these, one at a time per my request, and see where this takes us. I hate being miserable, bitchy and moody.

Today is a nice rainy day, man did we need it. My little flowers are curling at the leaves it was so dry out there. Today we have a nice steady, slow rain. It's beautiful the way mother nature rejuvenates itself when in desperate need. Unfortunately the boys are supposed to go swimming so we'll see if it clears up in time for them to go.

Thinking about taking off or 1/2 day on Friday. I am pretty sure we are all heading down to the shore again this weekend. I'm really starting to enjoy these long weekends and relaxing with book in hand at the shore line. I've also heard gf's are going to be down at the beach this weekend too this weekend, so it should be fun.

I took a day off yesterday from exercise, it felt good. I am pushing it way too much lately. Is there such a thing as pushing exercise too much? Anyhow, I didn't do any. Today, right back at it. It's nice to want to do exercise.

Tonight we go see Uncle B, he leaves in the a.m. to go back to Montana. Tomorrow J comes home from Greece, I can't wait to see her.

I'm mulling over a few things and life is beautiful.

TGIF

I have never been so happy for Friday in a long time. Usually work is just puttering along and I really do like what I do (I'm a wine and spirit buyer for a wholesaler here) but lately it seems with the blue moon that everyone is just a little bonkers in their requests....

Tonight is girls night out, I am really looking forward to hanging with my girls and enjoying some down time from life and everything in general right now. Tomorrow we walk the 5k for our friends son Mike....poor little guy is suffering horribly from MD and hoping to raise some $$ for a van for them. Sunday is up in the air right now...

DH was so petulant last night, for lack of a better word. He wants forgiveness yet cannot forgive. It's a dangerous double edge sword is dealing out right now and after the big email blowout with my probably former gf (BFF at that) I just didn't want to handle anything else so petty yesterday.

I've spoken of BFF MB before here in this very blog, I'm not going into gory details, but she was suppose to join us tonight, but she has claimed I'm so different she couldn't possibly hang out with me anymore. OK, so maybe I've changed a bit, but damn I haven't seen you since the time at the library about 2 months ago when you said "YOU AGAIN, I can't get away from you" we talked for like 2 minutes and each went out separate ways, before that was the weekend I "let" her stay with us when she was having bf problems...so if you can state I'm different than fine...

Ok, positive thoughts out there people, please send them all my way as I do not like to be down, nor do I want to be!!

Have a great weekend allll

6 month post pictures

I have been very lax the last few months to take pictures on my surgiversary...shame on me as I wanted to lay down in film the actual progress, but anywho here they are. I've enclosed my pre-surgery pic also, since alot of the new readers never "saw" me before.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Obviously you can tell which is which...or at least I hope you can. So 80lbs and alot of personal growth later I am starting to feel like I am getting my life back on track. Now I'm sure there is plenty of room for more growth both emotionally and physically, but that is my journey and why I am here. My labs came back great, a little high on the B12 but other than that everything else was perfect....I go back in three months, then after that three months and I'll be a year out. I'm still amazed how quickly this six months has gone by. It seems like yesterday I was crawling into bed after being released from the hospital and sleeping the afternoon away!!

Tonight is session 2 with the therapist, no dh support in that arena at all, in fact he won't even talk about it. There is so much to discuss we ran out of time last week. I was hoping after this great weekend things would change, but I think maybe not. Who knows. I'm going end of story. It may or may not become his loss at some point and that's what I told him this a.m. walking out the door.

I'm glad it's Wednesday also, this week cannot end soon enough for me at this point. I have alot of yard work to get done this weekend and am planning on it!! We are also doing a 5k this Sat morning to benefit one of my friends sons, who suffers from MD and is now at 11years old wheelchair bound. It's a debilitating disease that I rarely hear of. The benefit is help curb the cost of a new van for them to have converted to accomodate his wheelchair. Right now my friend actually lifts him in and out of her Expedition to and from school, doc's and whereever she needs to go. It's quite a strain on her physically and emotionally. I hope they are able to make enough to at least get the van....

Friday night is ladies night out, I love ladies night out!! We are going to celebrate a birthday with one of best girls, Cher!! Happy Birthday to you chickie!! It should be a fun night. Of course dh is pissed because it doesn't include him. Um, hello, when you are out with your drinking buddies I don't piss and moan and try to crash the party. It's not like we won't see each other at all either!! What a guy, seems anymore he's never happy.

Ok enough scoffing from me...

enjoy

Almost six months out

and noticing that my digestive system is changing, transforming, evolving (for lack of better words) once again. In the first five months I never had any problems with any of the foods as long as they were on the ok list. I have eaten small amounts, 2-3 oz per meal, as I cannot tolerate much more than that so far. Of course I have days when I feel like I have a wooden leg and can consume more throughout the day, but never in one sitting. I have always attributed this to changing exercise patterns, more exercise, TTOM, etc. So now as I am evolving once again, I notice that dairy (yogurt, cottage cheese, string cheese, ok you get it) is making me one stinky girl. I have progressed from little gas to a big gas hound!! Compound that with dairythat I love to eat and it leads to one person I would not desire to be around for the rest of the day, sorry to my co-workers. Where do I go from here? Well that is the burning question of mine that I will take up with the NUT and will go from there. It's strange how I've noticed as I've aged that every 5-7 years my body would morph itself. I know how can a basically fat person notice when the fat shifts...easy! I would notice the midriff section thickening, the legs getting heavier at the top the arms growing batwings like I was about to take off and fly! The face, the double chin then the triple chin. But now I am left with all this excess skin from the weight I've lost so far, unfortunately the batwings are still there (as expected) the midriff is still thicker than I would hoped it would have turned out. And the thighs well let's say jello jigglers have nothing on me. Where did this all come from? I have no idea as when I was a basic fat person I didn't care, point blank what was fat where it jiggled, etc. But I think with my evolving body my mind is also evolving into the mindset that I was to look pleasant to others along with myself! This is a brand new evolution to me, because I can remember at the beginning of this journey I was like as long as I'm fit and thinner I didn't care what the body looked like. So even though I strongly thought I would never seek out plastics, they could be a very real possibility for my future! GASP!!

It's really crazy this whole body dismorphia vs mind dismorphia thing going on with me right now. I'm almost as obsessed with it as I was with the scale until I broke the darn thing and threw it away without a replacement. Talk about a way to get rid of the scale for those of us who were obsessed with it. I felt almost like I needed to start a support group like AA for obsessive scale users. Hello, my name is Michelle and I'm obsessed with stepping on the scale and weighing myself. Quite a silly notion but those who've had WLS understand this point completely.

I spoke of my gf who is into totally bashing me and basically not wanting to hang out with me anymore, yes it hurts, what human wouldn't have those feelings from a friend who in 20+ years of friendship feels like it's all going down the potty because one of us decided to have WLS...but it happens. End of story, right now the ball in her court. I've made her a friendship card this weekend and sent it, if she sees fit she will respond, if not, well then life goes on. RIGHT!! A little background on her, she is heavy, not nearly as fat as I once was and yes, maybe yes she's feeling like I'm not the heavy one in our friendship anymore, but I thought with all the talk and stuff she was ok with it!! Obviously NOT but such is life. We move into one era and out of another at all given points in time.

My IPOD is broken, I'm torn in a friendship and my 43rd birthday is this week! I think I'm having a bit of middle age syndrome bordering mid-life crisis and feeling sorry for myself. I'll snap out of it and we'll all be grooving again shortly!

Fridays and craziness

Ok so today is the end of a crazy week at work, I'm tired and thrilled to death that we are here finally! All the bosses have been out of town all week, I'm busier than normal this week ordering and everyone and their problems crawled out of the wordwork! Needless to say it came to a boiling head this morning with my supposed bff. So I told her I was staying in this weekend but today got an email from a friend that Omnisoul is playing at a local club, what a great band to go see....well I ask her if she wants to go and she says she's broke, too tired, yada yada yada...crap! The other group is going to MD to see another band and I know I can't sway them...double crap!! So then she writes back to me, your other friends can go with you! I ask her WTF does this mean!! I know they say people change but since my surgery I haven't spent any time with her. I keep asking and asking and she keeps pushing me away. I've asked her to go shopping, cup of coffee, hang out at the house...nothing works!! I'm starting to feel that this surgery has impaired our freindship for life, why?? I have no flippin idea but it aggravates the heck out of me to think just because I've lost some weight she doesn't want to hang with me anymore??!!! I've heard it happens but never ever in a million years thought it would happen to me! So I'm disgusted and quite frankly I'm going tonight, with even another friend and I'll chalk it up to her loss and my gain.

Have a wonderful weekend

It's Friday!

I'm so excited. Tonight we have stamp a stack class then D and I are going out. Yeah, it's been a long week and I'm psyched. I have my new size 9 pants to wear!! woot I have a nice light green sweater I was going to wear also, but it's chilly out there, not the 75 degrees that were promised, but we'll see. At least the rain has moved on, that was no fun this morning coming in.

Yesterday I had a 1/2 of Wendy's chili for lunch, now this is not the first time I've had chili but man did it talk back to me last night. Of course I put the other 1/2 in the fridge here at work for today and woops I forgot, so after my workout I had no time to get something else, so I had it again and it's talking back already....I guess my new system is refining itself again and is on bean overload right now. Anyhow, I've been really trying to watch what I eat, I have felt like I was on a stall, but realistically based on the amount of weight I have left to lose I'm still losing at 20% per month, so that made me very :)

This weekend is supposed to be nice, so we'll get some more gardening in and general clean up of my messy yard. I think my neighbors are very happy with me that I actually have the energy to spruce it up and make it look nice....

Question for you ladies out there....since WLS I've had regular periods until this past month, then I had two, now let me tell you the PMS is ferocious, worst than I've ever had before. Could this be the hormones running rampant in my body?? Or should I be worried about this?

have a great weekend

Mondays, glorious spring

So Friday night was a total blast. We stayed out till 4am and had the best times of our lives. We started at Polidoro at 10pm for Salsa lessons. They were fun and easy to get the moves down the first or second time. Now I'm definitely no expert but I felt a little more informed after I left. We then left there and headed over to Tailgates, another favorite local bar. Saw some friends of ours from another band and met some guys from yet another band who had to cancel their engagement in VA due to their lead singer being in jail :( Sorry to see they were there that night but it was great for networking. At last call Mary Sue wisked us all in her Volvo station wagon down to Slackers in MD for their last call...saw alot of people from Tailgates there along with some new ones...then she was hungry so off for pancakes at 2:30am in the morning..lol

Saturday I was up at 9:30 and out the door by noon, the weather was perfect! Read a book with a picnic lunch in the park, went home and relaxed some more, early to bed though!!

Sunday up early, outside working on the yard getting things cleaned up!! Lots of sun and today I'm burnt, feels good all that Vit D!!

Back at work still in the 80's but it will come to an end this week. This Friday is stamping class then off to the bar again, more networking to be done!!

First things first

I have to pass along my condolences to all the family and friends who have lost loved ones at VT, it is my ds1 top 3 schools to look at for college this summer! He's a little shaken by the whole ordeal, but as I explained to him last night, it could happen to anyone, anywhere at any school. Overall I've heard nothing but great things from there, so the trip down is still on!!

-So the gf is at her new job, she emails I'm here
-DH is on his rag, I never knew a man to have so many mood swings in my life, I think he's going to breakdown if he doesn't get a job soon
-DS2 dropped two classes three grades and wonders why he's grounded until I say otherwise!
-I'm broke, I've paid up all of our bills and we are broke until next week, I need dh to get a job NOW!!!!!
-DH has six, count them, 1,2,3,4,5, 6 weeks left on his unemployment for the year!! GAH
-I'm in a size 10/12 depending on the cut :)
-I want winter to pack it up and take a hike somewhere else
-It's supposed to hit near 70 next week :)
-Less than one month and I'm 43
-The dog is so bad, did I ever mention how bad he is. Well that's another blog for another day
-I need a real vacation, palm trees and warm weather and sunshine
-I want to move and get a new job
-Maybe I can do the above once I hit the powerball
-I'm too broke to play powerball
-My grandma just turned 95 last week, god bless her soul

So some little things to throw out there, I feel better

179.5

Is all I can say....after being stuck int he 180's for what I felt like forever the scale has now moved into the 170's....yipppeeeee

The mini vacation was nice, well spent time off with the family enjoying things. Unfortunately for us the weather did not cooperate and was cool, cloudy and cold....gah

We did spend some quality time up at my dad's though and that was great, it's always good to see him, he's just puttering along and things are doing nicely for him and his girl..

Not much else to report except that the gf who is a jerk, refer to an earlier post went back to her idiot bf and then had the nerve to call me names. Ok, if she wants to live her life with a drug induced alcoholic that is her problem. I can't be around to always save her ass and I don't know if she really knows this or not, but she will soon enough.

I'm not going to make this a bitchy post, I promised myself I wouldn't...so
ciao for now
